Amanda Part Two

Mrs. Eve, Amanda's mother came back home that morning because she forgot her purse, and without it, she can't get her mother treated, surprisingly to her, her kids were still at home, and it was already 8 am She wondered why the kids are not in school yet, angrily she screamed Amanda's name but no responses were gotten from her, she matched into Amanda's room thinking she is still sleeping but Amanda was not in her room, she called her two kids and ask them where their sister is, they told her they have no idea where Amanda is. She tried calling her number, but she was hearing the ringtone from Amanda's room. Mrs. Eve was so angry at her daughter, she hurriedly dressed her kids up and took them to school, she came back home hoping to see Amanda but couldn't find her, she asked her husband where Amanda is, but he gave her no response. Mrs. Eve didn't have much time to waste as her mother is all alone and needed attention, she wrote a letter in it, 'Mandy when you are back from wherever the hell you went to, go pick the kids up from school', and kept it in Amanda's room. Mrs. Eve left for her mother and took her to the hospital, she spends the whole day in the hospital looking after her sick mother, hoping that her daughter is back home and has picked the kids up from school, she was still in the hospital when her kids principal called her that her kids were still in school. She was terrified when the principal called her, terrified because for her kids to still be in school by that hour then Amanda has not gotten home, and it was getting dark, where could her daughter be? She thought Amanda must have pissed her father off again and he locked her up in the place he always locks her up whenever she misbehaves. 

Mrs. Eve after dropping her kids at home went to where her husband always spends his day drinking and questioned him about her daughter's whereabouts, she begged her husband to bring her daughter back from wherever he is keeping her, but the husband pushed her away saying he has no idea where her daughter is, Mrs. Eve was not convinced by the word of her husband as he has always kidnapped their daughter whenever she wronged him, she continued begging her husband but got no responses from him. Mrs. Eve went home saddened by the disappearance of her daughter, hoping her husband would bring her home before dawn, she was disappointed as she didn't see any sign of her daughter or her husband the next morning, Mrs. Eve was worried so the kids, after taking them to school, she went to the police station to lay a complaint that her husband has kidnapped her daughter. Her husband was captured by the police for questioning, the answer he kept giving to the policemen was that he has no idea where his daughter is and that he is also worried about his daughter's whereabouts, the wife didn't believe a single word, she told the policemen how he always kidnaps her which gives the police more room for questioning. When Adam could not give them the answer they were looking for they beat him up and lock him in jail. 

The disappearance of Amanda caused a huge derange in the neighborhood as everyone keep looking for her, the police didn't stop investigating the case, they search the house of Amanda and question her kids' sister to see if they can get any clue. When one of the female police officers was questioning Sofia about the last time she set her eyes on her sister, she was told by Sofia that Amanda went to the bar to see Max the night of her disappearance, the police officer was curious, she asked Sofia if she was sure of what she just said, little sofia nodded her head in response, the police officer told Mrs. Eve what her daughter just said and requested to see Amanda's phone, Mrs. Eve hurriedly went to Amanda's room took the phone and gave it to the police. After going through Amanda's messages and call, it was confirmed that Amanda went out of the house that night to see Max, without wasting more time, the police officers drove to the bar where Max is working and handcuffed him. Mr. Adam, Amanda's father was later released that day after Max was arrested since they didn't find anything against him. Mrs. Eve couldn't believe that it was Max who kidnapped her daughter, she knew Max as a very gentle boy and his parents had never given them trouble since they moved into the neighborhood. She questioned Sofia why she never said anything before now, Sofia folding her fingers nervously told her mother she forgot. Max was beaten mercilessly by the police after he told them he never set his eyes on Amanda that night, they showed him the message on Amanda's phone and ask him to explain the meaning of the message. He told them that he did send the message but Amanda never appeared, when asked why he wanted to see her so bad, he was mute which makes the police more suspicious of him, they continue torturing him but Max kept his mouth shut, he never told the police the reason he wanted to see Amanda that night, he was locked up in a cell while the search for Amanda continues. 

After Chloe's parents came back from their vacation they were visited by the police, the police questioned them about Amanda's disappearance and they were in shock to hear that Amanda has been kidnap. Based on their expression and the time they traveled the police were convinced they have no clue about Amanda's disappearance. The police wondered who could have kidnap her and the reason she was kidnap, they don't think she was kidnaped for ransom because her parents are not doing so well, and they were told by her mother that she don't have any enemies, that Amanda is a very friendly person everyone seems to love her. It has been a week since the disappearance of Amanda and nothing has been found yet, no one knows how she is doing if she is still alive, or if she has been killed. Max is still locked up in jail and is being tortured day and night since he refused to speak about the reason he wanted to see Amanda, the police believe he has Amanda and are trying their best to make sure Max speaks up and Amanda is found.
