Parallel Love

 

The groom and bride were both directed to be seated at their special table while every other person was seen dancing, both parents were excited about the healthy union they have created, and while everyone was enjoying the moment, the groom and bride were not happy, they have been forced into marriage by their parents. They had to put on a fake smile while taking the wedding photographs. After the end of the celebration, the groom and bride were escorted to the groom's house. When Alexander saw that everyone has left his house leaving just him and Olivia his newly wedded wife, he instantly called his lover Luna to come over to his house, Alexander and Luna have been dating since their teenage age, and they had the plan to spend the rest of their lives together before the business of Alexander's father ruins everything. When Luna heard of the union between Alexander and Olivia, she was heartbroken, but Alexander ensures her that he would divorce Olivia once his father is done doing business with Olivia's family, Luna was okay with the idea, she was ready to wait for Alexander regardless of the time, she had full trust in Alexander. Olivia on the other hand didn't take it to heart when she saw Alexander her newly wedded husband with his girlfriend just an hour after their wedding. Olivia who also had a lover didn't plan on taking the step Alexander is taking, despite how much she loves her ex-boyfriend, she has the plan to accept her fate and remain devoted to her marriage, Olivia a day before her wedding breaks up with Henry her ex-boyfriend, she knew Alexander is not going to love her nor would she be able to open her heart to him but she was ready to face anything that comes in the marriage. Olivia was left all alone in the bedroom while Alexander was with Luna in the sitting room having a special time...

Since Olivia and Alexander got married, they haven't said a word to each other, they treat each other like a stranger, both sleeping in separate rooms. Sometimes Luna would come to Alexander's house, and both would live like a couple caring less about Olivia's feelings, Luna would leave Alexander's house when either Alexander's parents or Olivia's family comes to visit. Whenever their relative is around them they pretend to be going along with each other. Olivia's mother was happy after she saw that her daughter is happy and doing better in her husband's house, she never knew what she saw when she visited her daughter was all an act. Alexander vow never to love any woman except Luna, nor of their relatives knew what Alexander was up to, all they would see from the surface was that Olivia and Alexander are having a happy married life...

After a year of being married, there was still no sign of his father ending business with his wife's family, Alexander was pissed off, he really wanted to end things with Olivia real fast, he has been getting pressure from Luna who is having insecurity in their relationship, every single day that goes by whenever Luna sees Olivia and Alexander together she always fear that the two might end up liking each other, she had tried several means to put confusion between them but all her effort is always in vain, even though she is the one Alexander spend all his time with, they is still this insecurity that runs through her vein. Alexander and Olivia had never shared a room before but their understanding of each other is epic, both couples don't have a thing going on but everyone who sees them always thinks they are in love. Alexander respects his wife a lot because of how she carried herself and takes care of him even though he doesn't care about her. He always speaks highly of her when he is with his friend, family, or with Luna, which is why Luna always has insecurity. Luna feared that her boyfriend is falling in love with his wife without him knowing so she plans a three-month vacation that will make Alexander to be away from his wife, she thought doing that will erase anything Alexander is having for Olivia since distance kills love. Alexander and Luna traveled away leaving Olivia behind, when asked by his parents why he didn't take his wife with him, he lied his travel was for business purposes. Alexander lied to his parents but has never lied to his wife, even though it sounds disrespectful he always tells her the truth. Olivia was okay with it, she has always been okay with Alexander's way of living, which is one thing Alexander respects her for the most...

Olivia invited her cousin over to come to stay with her since her husband would be away with his girlfriend for three months. It was just three days since her husband left, and she was having a fun time with her cousin when the doorbell rang, she gets up from the bed curiously wondering who might be at the door since she wasn't expecting anyone. She was taken aback when she saw her husband standing impatiently at the door when she asked him why he is back so early, he dropped his bag on the ground and hugged her tightly whispering in her ear, "Because I missed you", Olivia who was confused about the whole thing ask her cousin to leave, leaving just her and her husband, she stood still in front of him waiting for him to talk when she saw that he was not saying any word just staring intently at her, she uttered, "what about Luna". "I broke up with her", said Alexander, Alexander moved closer to his wife held her hand, and confesses his feelings for her, he told her that he can't live a day without her and had fallen in love with her and would want to do right by her, Olivia was so excited to hear her husband say those word, she fell in love with her husband five month into their marriage and has been hiding it from him since he has someone he loves already, she never knew he would reciprocate her love, she hugged him so tightly and told him how much she loves him too, both kissed passionately.
